Starting a Startup: The Truth You Discover After

Lately I've been hearing about starting a startup as if it were a child's game, often from (excellent) employees who have been talking about it for a long time. I've been an entrepreneur since 2005: before starting a company I worked my way up, I ate M. for years. Today, after having developed two successful companies and given work to hundreds of people, I can say that to get results you need luck, entrepreneurship and hard work. On social networks and mass media everyone talks about the easy successes of the founders of Uber, Tesla & Google, but in 99% of cases this is not the case: there are many things that are not talked about. Every year some new entrepreneurs ask me to finance or join their startup. For them and for you, who dream of your own business, I have summarized a squeeze of the most important and less publicized things to know before (not after) creating a startup :
The idea matters little. The ACTIONS you australia telegram phone number list matter. Having the idea of doing 100 sit-ups every day is different from doing them. Execution dominates, ideas are commodities.
Failure: 9 out of 10 don't make it. You have to be ready to accept it if it goes wrong. With serenity.
Startup marketing to launch a business helps but it is not enough: you also need the right people, the cash, the entrepreneurial ability.
Startup founders and workers salary: you earn much less than average. This for at least 3 or 4 years after launch. Often you will miss vacations (or have to work on vacations and weekends).

Layoffs: Sometimes you will have to let go of people you appreciate but who don’t fit the bill at that moment.
Growth hacking: even when it works it is often not enough to make money in the short term. With Likes and SEO sessions you do not pay salaries.
Surviving alone: in the first 3 years of the startup's life, you have to make it on your own and not immediately seek money from an investor without first validating the effectiveness of the idea in the field.
Benchmark: Companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon and LinkedIn are rare and lucky cases (0.001%). For the first 3-5 years do not even think about these success stories. If you study carefully they struggled a lot in the beginning.
Start your own startup if you want and are confident. Start TODAY, not TOMORROW.
Find someone who has actually done it and let you learn from other people's mistakes! It will cost you less than doing it yourself. I hope a lot of people can avoid the same mistakes I made.
