Until now, science presented us with different types of learning and divided them into three large families: visual, auditory and tactile. Practically each of us is able to learn better by using one of these senses more.

The reality is that recent studies have shown that this classification is incorrect and that we are all visual learners , which means that our brain is able to learn better if we present information in the form of visual content such as images, videos or even elegant infographics.

Mixing styles is always useful, but focusing mainly on visual content helps us because our brain is able to focus up to 80% to iceland phone number data dedicate itself to understanding visual content and this is a very interesting statistic for the creation of our presentations, especially if we combine it with the subsequent discovery.

It is no secret that our brain identifies a single character as an image. This requires additional activity from our brain because it will have to work hard to process all the information that the set of characters contains, for this reason we avoid writing a lot in the slides and it is again useful to focus on the visual content.

Using photos or icons is much more useful because the recognition of concepts and the creation of connections that allow us to remember doubles when we use images . In fact, if it is true that we are able to retain 10% of the information that we can assimilate by listening to an audio, if I use (only) images the percentage is 35%; but if I use audio and images together the percentage rises to 60% !

Not a bad result when you consider that, aside from organizing the concepts within your slides, all you did was select the correct image .

If for some reason you don’t have the ability to show images, maybe the projector is missing or broken, try using stories.

Organize the information you are presenting in a way that activates your audience's imagination and lets them paint the images they need to best remember the concepts you are presenting.
