HubSpot vs. WordPress, or Why You Should Switch to HubSpot in 2024

In the last few years, digitalization has reached unprecedented proportions. In this situation, low-code and no-code solutions have received an unprecedented development impulse. And if we are talking about an ordinary user, an ordinary company that wants to start or strengthen its presence on the web, the first thing that comes to mind is the free WordPress CMS.
Its advantages are obvious:
Price (it's free, like most of its plugins)
Scalability
There are a lot of developers who can do something on WordPress for relatively little money.
But only a few people look at the bigger picture, taking these advantages as basic. In this post, I would like to tell you why the conventionally "free" WordPress is not the best choice, and the "paid" HubSpot will cost you less.
Everything I write here is my personal opinion based on over 7 years of working with WordPress and 4 years of working with HubSpot.
What are the advantages of HubSpot over WordPress?
There are several reasons why you might consider using HubSpot instead of WordPress for your website and marketing needs:

But what about developing the site? I'll try to explain that.
What is HubSpot CMS?
HubSpot CMS - is an ever-evolving infrastructure for building modern websites. However, unlike WordPress, you can forget about servers and databases. HubSpot takes care of all that, so you can focus on your website.
Similar to WordPress, HubSpot has a wide range of free templates that you can download from the HubSpot Asset Marketplace.
But in case you don’t like any of the HubSpot templates, you can build your own theme. Building HubSpot templates is not as complicated as it seems. HubSpot has a module structure, so you can build modules and reuse the same ones in different templates (and pages) as per your needs. Even beginners in HTML/CSS can understand the interface and build nice-looking templates easily.
This is probably the main advantage of HubSpot CMS. You cuba business email list can apply growth-based design concepts, and a simple landing page can evolve into a huge website in a few iterations. Updating a template with new modules will take a few minutes, whereas in WordPress you will have to make deep changes and install more and more plugins.

In our experience, some customers use HubSpot for marketing because it allows them to easily work with their user bases, organize mailing lists, create new landing pages in minutes, run A/B tests , and dynamically change content based on the user, their behavior, and location.
Can WordPress do all of this? CMS alone, no. Yes, you can do all of this with third-party plugins and services, but first, you’ll need to store your customer base in different places or give different plugins access to it – and second, as is often the case, plugin creators who lose interest in their products don’t update them to new versions of WordPress, so they simply stop working. In HubSpot, on the other hand, all the functionality is within the ecosystem and is accessible with a few clicks.
