Determine the style of the messages

Post by samiaseo55 »

Each social network has a different style depending on its functionality. This aspect is important to keep in mind, but it shouldn't influence the style of your company's messages.

The tone you use should be consistent with your brand values so that it resonates with your target audience. For example, if your service and/or product is in the children's sector, your messages could include puns, cute and friendly words, etc.

The style guide should also define which textual band data and audiovisual elements will be used. Do emojis fit with your brand image? If so, go ahead and use them in your text messages, but don't overdo it either. My advice is to use a maximum of two or three emoticons, depending on the type of information you're conveying.

Regarding the visual style, you need to specify what type of content fits your company's image and how you want to convey it. For example, whether you'll only publish photos or videos as well. If you're only using images, make sure they all follow a common editorial line, such as adding your company logo at the bottom and a quote to each photo.

If posting only photos doesn't convince you, give videos a try! A social account filled with videos and photos is much more attractive and dynamic. Video marketing is a safe bet, but you'd have to specify in your social media style guide what types of videos would be published, because you'd have to differentiate between your own videos, which are those created by the company itself, and shared videos that are unrelated to your company but related to your business and/or product.
