Despite some differences from personal accounts, Instagram accounts for businesses remain very easy to use. Follow these 4 simple steps to launch your brand on Instagram.

1. Switch to a business Instagram account
Before you start using Instagram for business purposes, you need to create an Instagram greece phone number data business account . It's free and anyone with an Instagram account can do it.

Here's how to turn your existing Instagram account into a business account:

From your profile, tap the three horizontal lines icon located in the upper right corner.
Next, scroll down and tap Account type and tools .
Go to Switch to a Business Account to turn the account you're logged into into an Instagram for Business account.
Tap Continue (Instagram may ask you to tap this tab multiple times as the platform previews the features available for a business account).
Once you reach the "What best describes you?" screen, select a category and use the slider to choose whether or not to display it on your profile, then tap Done .
Choose Professional (unless you prefer to choose Creator , if that's the option you're interested in), then tap Next .
Add or edit the relevant contact information, then use the slider to choose whether or not to display your contact information on your profile. Then tap Next (or tap Don't use my contact information to skip this step).
If you plan to connect your Instagram business account to a Facebook business page, tap Connect to Facebook . This option is technically optional, but it's required to use Instagram shopping features or run ads on Instagram .
You'll then be prompted to add additional features to your account, such as telling Instagram about your goals, your desire to grow your audience, and adding details to your portfolio. To make these selections later, tap the X in the top left corner to close this window and return to your profile.
If you only want to create an Instagram account for your business, simply create a new Instagram account and convert it to an Instagram business account.

You can have up to five Instagram accounts, so feel free to keep your Instagram account entirely personal if you prefer. To learn more, read our article on the differences between Instagram business accounts and creator accounts .

Profile picture: Most brands use their logo. Your profile picture is displayed at 110 x 110 pixels (as a circle), but the platform stores it at 320 x 320, so that's the size you should upload it in.
Link in bio: Insert a link to your website, your latest blog post, a current campaign, or a Link Tree .
Contact information: If you didn't add contact information when you created your account, you can do so at any time by tapping Edit profile . Instagram will then add a Contact button to your profile.
Action buttons: You can add a button that allows customers to request services from you (book an appointment, order food, etc.). To use this feature, you must have an account with an Instagram partner . Tap Edit profile . Under Public business information, tap Communication options , then tap Add action button .
Featured Stories and Covers: Featured Stories are another way to optimize your profile, allowing you to provide more information about your brand, products, or services. Organize your Stories into saved collections, then highlight them with cover icons .
