If one of the two is absent from the equation, you won't be able to grow your business.


Everything else follows from this.


It sounds simple when you put it like that, but it's loaded with implications that will lead you to having a stable services business.


Implications that I want to detail in this article.


Now to the concrete.


I managed to multiply my turnover X5 in three years by doing 6 important things:


Changing my mindset about what it means to own and grow a service business

Surround myself with mentors (especially digital ones)

Increase demand for my services

Raise my prices

Increase the number of clients I can take on on a monthly basis

Diversify my sources of income


In the following lines I will detail each of these points step by step.



1. Change of mentality


“I’m never going to make that kind of money in my field…it’s impossible.”


I still remember the day I said that to my then girlfriend and now wife.


As of today, I have been billing that amount for several months.


What was going on? My mindset was very limited by what I believed was possible.


I didn't have it on my radar that it was possible to earn that amount because my mentality was tied to being an employee.


Here's the truth: If you don't have the right mindset, it's going to be very difficult to substantially increase your revenue.


The reason is that our beliefs, thoughts and convictions define our way of acting.


If we don't believe something is achievable, we won't try.


If we don't try, we can't define clear objectives.


And without clear goals, we can't create the lifestyle, systems, habits, and activities that will take us where we want to go.
