Bundesliga season 2015/16: Grand opening on 11 September 2015 in Bamberg

On the second weekend in September, the DKBC Bundesliga teams will kick off the new 2015/16 season with the first matchday. This will be the 38th season since the introduction of Bundesliga club teams in 1978.
The opening match will be played on Friday, September 11, 2015 (kick-off at 7 p.m.) between the German champions and DKBC Women's Cup winners, SKC Victoria Bamberg, and the newly promoted team to the Bundesliga 120 Women, SKC Bavaria Karlstadt, at the Bamberg women's new home ground, the Sportpark Eintracht on Armeestraße.

6:30 p.m. Welcome by DKBC Vice President Thomas Berk.
6:45 p.m. Presentation of the match balls of all the team clipping path service runners-up from Speichersdorf 2015 for auction.
7:00 p.m. Start of the Bundesliga 120 Throw Women's Championship: SKC Victoria Bamberg vs. SKC Bavaria Karlstadt.
This is also a unique opportunity for representatives from other clubs to inspect the new facility under competitive conditions.
This weekend, the now traditional DKB four-lane tournament with all discipline associations will take place in Wolfsburg.
The DKBC delegation includes the women's team vice world champion from Speichersdorf, Melina Zimmermann (KV Liedolsheim), the U18 tandem world champions Bianca Zimmermann (KSC Önsbach) and Alena Bimber (ESV Pirmasens), as well as Jessica Dreher (KV Liedolsheim), and the men's team vice world champion Mathias Dirnberger, the 2015 German double champion in the 120 and 200 throws, Manuel Weiß (both Victoria Bamberg), team vice world champion Timo Hehl (KC Schwabsberg), and the U18 team vice world champion Daniel Barth (ESV Lok Rudolstadt).
